ADHDfife emerged in response to the limitations of a 6-week pilot program, SPARKS, conducted by the ADHD clinic at Whytemans Brae Day Hospital. Recognizing the inadequacy of a mere 9 hours of generic information for adults with lifelong ADHD symptoms, our group was established to address this shortfall. Extensive research underscored the critical need for a holistic support group that moves beyond traditional medication-focused approaches. ADHDfife aims to provide multifaceted support, acknowledging that ADHD's impact extends beyond medication, influencing learned behaviors that affect quality of life. Our commitment is to foster an environment where individuals can access comprehensive assistance, empowering them to navigate the complexities of ADHD and its associated challenges effectively.
