Greetings, I am Alistair, the founder and Director for ADHDfife. Commencing my career in healthcare at 17, I accumulated 12 years of experience in diverse roles, including clinical care, housing support, learning disabilities, complex needs, and forensic services. I also held various HR positions during this time.

My enduring passion for healthcare finds expression in my current role with ADHDfife, where I assist individuals in managing their ADHD and associated conditions. I am responsible for overseeing the management and daily operations of ADHDfife. Outside of my voluntary commitments, I indulge in my other passion – online gaming.

Director

Greetings, I'm David, one of the administrators here. Recently diagnosed with ADHD, my journey with this condition has been lifelong.

Beyond my role here, I have a fervent passion for fitness, particularly relishing outdoor pursuits. There's something about the open air that invigorates both body and mind. Additionally, I have a great passion for meditation and relaxation therapies, recognizing the profound impact they can have on mental well-being.

My aim within this community is to foster a sense of belonging and understanding. No one should feel isolated in their journey with ADHD. Together, we can unlock the remarkable potential that lies within each of us.

I'm Sally-Ann, a chatty and motivated mom of three girls and two dogs. With a background in nursing, holistic health, and wellness, I'm always learning and discovering more about myself every day. ADHD has been a part of my life since childhood, but now I'm leveraging it to my advantage and embracing it fully. Excited to get to know you too!

My name is Amereen, a Scottish Muslim woman and mother of three, also a teacher specializing in ASN children. Recently diagnosed with ADHD, I've been delving into understanding this neurological condition while facing Asian stereotypes. Utilizing my newfound knowledge, I aim to support and advocate for individuals in similar situations, championing their rights and fostering understanding.

My name is Meg, I am 18 years old and starting in september to study Nursing specialising in Learning Disabilities. I was diagnosed with ADHD last year and I joined the group to help support others with their journey. My role in ADHD Fife is Youth Engagement Officer and this means encouraging our youth community to join the organisation and gain support with their ADHD. My aim is to offer help and support to the youth community with anything they may struggle with and create events that best suit their interests.

Youth Engagment

I am Natalie, a wife and mother to nine lively children and one faithful dog. Throughout my life, I've embraced new experiences and accumulated valuable insights.

Growing up with both my brothers diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, around 4 or 5, I've long suspected I have it too. As I've matured and conducted research, particularly in assessing my own children (where I easily identified with the symptoms), the reality of my own ADHD has become increasingly clear.

I'm grateful to have found this supportive community where I can be myself without judgment. I'm eager to offer any assistance I can and look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi, I'm Wendy. I'm a mum to two young adults and have quite a few cats keeping me company. My background is mainly in education and childcare, where I've focused on providing support for individuals with Additional Support Needs (ASN) and promoting mental health awareness.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in my garden, exploring nature, and taking on DIY projects around the house. I also love reading and dabbling in various art forms.

I'm really excited to join the ADHD Fife team and look forward to hearing your story.
